HAPPY VALLEY, OREGON WEATHER: NOVEMBER 2020

TEMPERATURES

November 2020 Mean Temperatures averaged just a bit below Normal in the area, less than a one-degree departure. The first few days were the warmest of the month, with Maximum Temperatures reaching the upper 50s to mid-60s over the first 5 days (the highest being the 65.4° on the 4th), then declining through the remainder of the month. In fact, from the 6th-30th, 20 of these days remained ≤50°, including the final 13 consecutive days. Minimum Temperatures varied more than usual this month, ranging from a high of 59.0° (4th) to a low of 30.2° (9th), the latter reading one of just two days to reach freezing (the 32.1° on the 8th being the first freeze of the season, when rounding to whole degrees). This 28.8° Minimum Temperature range was actually more than the month’s Maximum Temperature range of 23.8° (high of 65.4°, low of 41.6°), an unusual occurrence. The Maximum Diurnal Range was 22° (64.4°/42.4°) on the 2nd, the Minimum was just 5.2° (47.4°/42.2°) on the 25th.
