TEMPERATURES August Average Temperatures were about 1.5° above the Normal in the area for both the Maximum and Minimum Temperatures. As has been the case this summer, there were no extended periods of hot weather as just 3 days even made it to ≥90° this month, the highest being the 95.8° on the 15th, the second-warmest reading of the year, exceeded only by the 96.0° on July 27th.
