OREGON: A STATEWIDE TOP-10 COLDEST OCTOBER IN 2019
It was a much drier than normal October in 2019 as the statewide average in Oregon was just 1.60″, only 65% of the 1895-2019 Normal of 2.46″. However, the persistent chilly weather, especially in the northern half of the state, was the more important story this month. Overall, it was the 4th coldest October in the last 125 years with a Mean Temperature of 43.2°, just 1.0° short of the coldest of all time which occurred exactly 100 years prior…
