TEMPERATURES December 2022 at Portland’s three official stations reported Average Temperature Departures-from-Normal ranging from -2.6° at the Portland International Airport (PDX) to -3.8° at the Portland National Weather Service Forecast Office (WFO) in the Park Rose neighborhood. Through the first 2/3 of the month, the weather was fairly uneventful temperature-wise. TEMPERATURES October 2022 was one of the warmest on record in the area, especially for Maximum and Mean Temperatures. Of the three official Portland weather stations (Downtown, Airport, and Weather Forecast Office), the Average Maximum Departures ranged from +5.4° to +7.5°. TEMPERATURES September 2022 was record-warm in the Portland area; the three official Portland weather stations had Mean Temperature Departures ranging from +2.9° to +4.1°. The year 2022 continued the trend of warm months of July in the Portland area. Five of the Top-10 Warmest Julys have occurred since 2014 and eight of the Top-10 since 2003.
