TEMPERATURES October 2022 was one of the warmest on record in the area, especially for Maximum and Mean Temperatures. Of the three official Portland weather stations (Downtown, Airport, and Weather Forecast Office), the Average Maximum Departures ranged from +5.4° to +7.5°. October was also rainless through the first 20 days in Portland before receiving sufficient rains to bring totals to near the monthly Normals. TEMPERATURES September 2022 was record-warm in the Portland area; the three official Portland weather stations had Mean Temperature Departures ranging from +2.9° to +4.1°. Here in Happy Valley, the Average Maximum/Minimum/Mean Temperatures were 75.9°/55.6°/65.8°. The warmest period was, as usual, during the beginning of the month but Max. TEMPERATURES August 2022 was a historically warm month, not only the warmest August at the Portland Airport but was the warmest month of all-time, with the data record going back to Nov. 1940.
