FINAL UPDATE ON 7/3/2022 AT 7:20 AM: The Portland Airport (PDX) established its wettest period covering the three months of April, May, and June.  PDX measured 12.60″, surpassing the previous record of 11.87″ set in 2010.  The 2022 monthly amounts were: April 5.73″, May 3.78″, June 3.09″. TEMPERATURES May 2022 averaged much cooler than Normal for this area. In fact, due to the persistent clouds and rain, Maximum Temperatures averaged between 4 and 5 degrees below Normal. TEMPERATURES April 2022 was quite a chilly one as nearly every day this month averaged below Normal. In fact, only a day or two averaged more than a +1° departure from Normal.  The warmest day, oddly, occurred early in the month with a Max/Min/Mean on the 7th of 73.5°/50.6°/62.1°, and no other day even came close (the second-warmest was on the 24th with 70.5°/41.2°/55.9°).
