With a minimum temperature of 59° this morning at the Portland Airport (PDX), Portland’s third-longest streak with minimum temperatures of ≥60° came to an end at 17 consecutive days. This came close to the all-time record of 19 days ending on 8/1/1998, also recorded at PDX. TEMPERATURES Though July averaged close to Normal, the month began quite cool as Maximum Temperatures for 3 of the first 6 days remained ≤70°; no day was >80° until the 12th, and the first day to reach ≥85° wasn’t until the 20th.
