TEMPERATURES May 2019 averaged several degrees above normal, mostly due to much-above-normal temperatures through the first 13 days; all but two days were in the 70s and 80s during this period. In contrast, 13 days remained ≤70° from the 14th-31st. Splitting the month in two, the following Max/Min/Mean Temperatures were recorded: 1st-13th 76.3°/46.4°/61.4°; 14th-31st 67.0°/50.7°/58.9°, the former period revealing clear, sunny skies and the larger diurnal range of temperatures vs. the latter cloudier, rainier conditions in the second period.
